Technical SEO Specialist / Digital Marketing Agency / Flexible working / International clients / Modern Offices in Vilnius

 

The Technical SEO Specialist will be joining a team who manage a portfolio of international brands and clients. They will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the complex SEO architecture that includes Angular.js-based main sites with prereder.io implementation and a network of Wordpress brand protection sites across multiple markets.

 

Reporting into the SEO Team lead based in Manchester, UK, the Technical SEO Specialist will:

  • Manage prerender.io configuration and cache for Angular.js-based sites
  • Maintain and expand a network of brand protection WordPress sites across multiple regions
  • Monitor and respond to regional ISP blocks through sophisticated redirection strategies
  • Implement technical SEO optimisations across both main sites and brand protection sites
  • Coordinate with in-house developers and WordPress specialists for site modifications
  • Execute link building strategies with in-house team and external agencies
  • Optimise content for both branded and non-branded search visibility
  • Monitor brand rankings across multiple regions using specialised tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, content, social media and marketing) via Jira ticketing systems
  • Implement schema markup and technical SEO improvements via custom CMS
  • Track and report on SEO performance across multiple regions and brands. GA, GSC, Matomo analytics and tracking systems.
  • Identify and respond to affiliate competitors targeting brand terms

 

Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of technical SEO experience, preferably with JavaScript-heavy applications
  • Hands-on experience with prerender.io or similar server-side rendering solutions for SEO
  • Strong understanding of WordPress site optimisation and security
  • Experience managing multi-domain SEO strategies and brand protection campaigns
  • Technical SEO expertise, including schema implementation, rendering optimisation, and JavaScript SEO
  • Proficiency with redirect mechanisms
  • Experience with CDN configuration beneficial
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
  • Analytical approach with experience using rank tracking and monitoring tools
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills and communication

 

This role would suit someone who relishes the technical side of SEO, understanding how to build small sites in Wordpress as well as being able to manage ISP blocks rapidly.
