Our client, a fast-growing startup is looking for a Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth across digital transformation, tech innovation, UX/UI design, and cultural services.
As a Business Development Manager (BDM) your mission is to drive strategic growth by identifying new revenue opportunities and forming partnerships that align with the company’s offerings. You’ll be the bridge between creative, technical, and strategic teams energizing client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle, from proactive prospecting and lead generation through in-depth discovery calls, tailored proposal development, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
- Manage and grow a dynamic sales pipeline by identifying new opportunities, forecasting revenue accurately, and maintaining up-to-date records within the CRM to support data-driven decisions.
- Set, track, and exceed strategic sales goals and KPIs, consistently evaluating outcomes and refining tactics to drive growth, efficiency, and alignment with broader business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based client relationships, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and providing exceptional service to maximize satisfaction, retention, and lifetime value.
- Stay informed of evolving trends and emerging technologies, particularly in digital design, automation, AI, nonprofit fundraising platforms, and cultural/digital engagement strategies, applying insights to shape client solutions and maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams—including product, marketing, and delivery—to ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded and that solutions are both strategically sound and operationally feasible.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of proven success in sales within an agency environment
- Experience selling web-based marketing products
- Global B2B sales experience is an asset
- Comfortable driving cold/warm outreach and generating leads
- Excellent relationship-building skills with clients and key decision-makers
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with CRM tools is an asset
- A collaborative team player with a values-driven mindset
- Fluently Bilingual French and English
- Global travel as required
