Marketing & Events Senior Executive
Job description
Marketing & Events Senior Executive
£30,000 – £40,000
12 month FTC
Altrincham (hybrid)
Are you an energetic events and marketing professional who loves creating memorable client and corporate experiences? We’re looking for a Marketing & Events Senior Executive to join a dynamic team and take a leading role in delivering impactful events and campaigns. This role is fixed-term-contract due to maternity cover, with ideal start date being November 25, and contract likely ending January 27.
The Job...
As part of a wider team and reporting into the Head of Marketing, you'll be central to supporting organising, planning, promoting and hosting circa 60 events per year (anything up to about 20 at a time, of varying sizes and scales) across a range of activities including internal corporate events, client networking events, and industry seminars and webinars.
You'll be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering a mix of events — seminars, webinars, networking sessions, client hospitality, and corporate functions.
- Managing logistics end-to-end: venues, suppliers, catering, delegate comms, and on-the-day coordination.
- Acting as the go-to contact at events, ensuring everything runs smoothly for guests and speakers.
- Maintaining and updating CRM records to keep data accurate and campaigns targeted.
- Measuring event ROI through feedback, reporting, and analytics.
- Supporting marketing activity, including digital promotion, social media, and event materials.
- Working with designers and agencies to create engaging collateral.
- Contributing to competitor research and fresh ideas for event innovation
About You...
The Marketing & Events Senior Executive will need to have good communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and strong organisational skills.
Here's some of the key experience you'll need to demonstrate:
- A strong organiser who thrives on juggling multiple projects.
- Confident communicator with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience in events (professional services or corporate settings is a major plus).
- Comfortable using CRM systems, email marketing tools, and webinar platforms.
- A proactive, team-player mindset with flexibility to attend events at varying times of day.
The Company...
This Marketing & Events Senior Executive role is an in-house position for a professional services firm. That said, you'll be working across multiple brands so the work certainly has an agency vibe. This also isn't your typical 'stuffy' professional services firm; it's a forward thinking company with a vibrant culture.
In addition to an attractive salary of £30k - £40k DOE, some additional benefits include:
- Hybrid working model, typically 3 days in the modern Altrincham office and 2 days from home, each week (your first 3 months will be 5 days a week in the office while you settle in)
- There are flexible start times too, with standard hours being 9am-5.30pm, however if better for your lifestyle you can flex any intervals up to an hour either side of this.
- You'll also get 22 days holiday, plus a day off for your birthday, plus 3 days extra at Christmas, plus bank holidays off.
- A work from home contribution.
- Monthly gym contribution.
- 2 pension schemes
- Death in service benefit
