Project Manager
Hybrid – Prague (2 days per week)
We’re partnering with a globally recognised consultancy that specialises in strategic, HR, financial, and procurement transformation. Following continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they’re looking for a Project Manager to join their expanding team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end to end project delivery across a range of business and technology initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
- Develop, maintain and actively manage detailed project plans, milestones, resource schedules and delivery timelines in collaboration with business and technology teams.
- Drive project maturity and continuous improvement by implementing consistent project management standards, governance and delivery frameworks across programmes of work.
- Manage project scope effectively, ensuring requirements, priorities and changes are clearly documented, assessed and controlled through agreed governance processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels across the organisation, ensuring effective communication, engagement and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate collaboration across cross functional teams, working closely with colleagues across operational, technical and business functions to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Provide regular project reporting and updates to stakeholders and senior leadership, including progress against milestones, key decisions, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Own and maintain core project governance documentation including Project Plans, RAID Logs, Highlight Reports and Lessons Learned documentation.
- Identify, manage and proactively mitigate project risks and issues, escalating where appropriate to ensure delivery remains on track.
- Lead project meetings, workshops and steering groups, ensuring actions and decisions are clearly documented and tracked through to completion.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement across the wider delivery and operational teams.
- Contribute to the development and sharing of best practices, standards and ways of working to improve overall project delivery capability and organisational maturity.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging and influencing colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
- Experience managing project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies and competing priorities effectively.
- Demonstrable experience driving project governance, delivery maturity and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience working collaboratively across cross functional teams and building strong working relationships.
- Knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
- Relevant Project Management qualifications such as PRINCE2, Agile, PMP or equivalent are desirable.
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience providing updates to senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Ability to identify, assess and proactively manage risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Experience working with project management and collaboration tools
- Results driven with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Professional, adaptable and able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
