Business Analyst- Product Experience

 

San Jose (Hybrid 3 days a week in office)

 

We are partnered with a company that provides consulting services specializing in statistical analysis and risk management who are looking for a Business Analyst to join their growing team.  

 

As a Business Analyst & Product Support team member, you will play a crucial role in analyzing business processes & product journeys, gathering requirements, and contributing to the development and implementation of effective solutions. You will work closely with the Product & Program Experience Managers in Innovation, analyzing business and customer data related to strategic initiatives, Products and Services, and provide insights to support data-driven decisions.

 

You will drive strategic thinking and cross-functional alignment around data-driven approaches across teams, including Operations, DnA and Ecomm/Marketing to secure relevant data & enable planning related to the Products & Initiatives you are supporting.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, Product use-cases and requirements.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of business & customer data & processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in documenting business/Product requirements and translating them into functional specifications, including use cases and business flows.
  • Work with User data to write user stories, acceptance criteria gathering, and troubleshoot with QAs when necessary.
  • Support with documentation and reporting on Test & Learn projects and other initiatives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration, supporting with Project Management efforts as needed.
  • Utilize Confluence and Jira Advanced Roadmaps to log and track the projects/products you are supporting.
  • Support the design and implementation of solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Perform data analysis to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Assist in creating reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the successful deployment of solutions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to business analysis.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to deliver in a fast-paced global environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Data visualization skills & ability to provide effective reporting & visibility
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to interact and communicate effectively across functions and cultures.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to change direction quickly when required by client or project needs.
  • Ability to work in an industry & team that is always changing and developing by being adaptable & efficient.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Agile & business analysis tools and methodologies
  • Familiarity with project management concepts.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts.
